I need advice, guys. I'm heading to New York on 17th Feb for the second time in a few months, but I don't feel as if I made the most of the many restaurants, diners and random hot dog stands during my last visit. So, what I need is a little advice on the best places to eat out in Manhattan. I'm not looking for the cheapest restaurants, but since I'm going with a male friend I'm not exactly looking for candles, a massive wine list and chamber music. For preference I'm looking for pizza, steaks and other tasty, meaty stuff. So, good food and a real 'New York' atmosphere - i.e. I want to know I'm eating in New York rather than just any random eatery anywhere in the world. Any tips? Update: I'd welcome any tips on restaurants in the boroughs, too, as long as they're worth the trip out of Manhattan. Cheers
Wow, the menu looks fantastic. I love snapper However, it seems more like the kind of place I'd take a date - I ain't spending $95 on dinner unless there's a chance of getting some action after dessert. Since I'd be dining with a 17-stone ginger haired guy it'd probably be an unwise use of my money
Bro, trust me, it really ain't about that. On top of which, I'd say that at least 50% of the tables are comprised of pretty much four guys with suits since, because of it's well-deserved fame, it is a great business dinner place as well.
