If I had the chance to eat Kangaroo, I surely would. I love to try new foods! I love all kinds of meats, chicken , beef, fish , lamb, crocodile, its all so good
Sounds good and nasty at same time, anyone have one before? Bet it tastes like chicken cheers, powell
if you like to try new food or meat that you have never tired, you should go to travel in Thailand or China. you will see lots of weird food to try out.
You think about it I'm sure it can't be any worse than the crap we eat everyday. From mad cow disease to mad chicken disease and others alike. Here in Europe we have those problems and others...
It has a bit of a dirty taste and no matter how long it's cooked it stays very red. When one is killed on the road the road seems to stay red for ages. The supermarkets are selling it now because the cost of meat is so high. Not many have a taste for it though.
I tried some Kangaroo before when I was about 11yrs old. Tasted quite good from what I remembered. Not sure how to describe it though
The kangaroo available commercially differs from the East Coast States to the West. NSW and Southern Queensland hunters harvest eastern grey kangaroos which are smaller and are generally regarded as inferior in meat quality to the Western Red which has been the mainstay of the South Australian industry for over 35 years. http://www.benjaminchristie.com/article/233/how-to-cook-kangaroo-meat-or-wallaby-meat-properly
