    hello everyone

this may be a stupid question but what is the easiest way to make a clean, professional and detailed website with very little knowledge of coding?

i've been doing affiliate marketing for a couple of years now on a number of different CPA sites and though i have had success in the past ($5000-$7000 checks in one month sometimes :) ) i haven't been able to get to the next level due to my lack of knowledge with making websites

i've tried making a couple sites in the past but they never got off the ground since i am inexperienced and don't know what i'm doing lol

so any information, tips, links to guides or programs, templates or anything like that will be greatly appreciated as im eager to begin making websites for myself

    thanks! :D

Wordpress. Great for what you want to do. Get a host that uses Cpanel with fantastico and you can set it up with a few clicks.

Hi, I have sent you a PM but in short I'm not a designer either so when it somes to my affiliate marketing business I only do what I'm good at and outsource the rest that smartest thing to do in my eyes. this way I can get te best results for what I'm good at cause I put my time and effor there and let someone who is good at design do what they do best. take alot of knowledge to create stunning sites something not everyone has an eye for.

I concur wordpress is a firm option although it's probably not a bad idea to get handy with photoshop and dreamweaver aswell, just in case you need a nice looking static site at some point :)

There are also thousands of free html templates on google :D

well, first, learn the basic links here htmlbasix.com. and then, download a template code from any website. they should have some copyright notices on the page or something and then replace that with your text. btw, if you are gonna upload it on a host, you must upload all the files in the folder you download, because of the buttons, etc. also, you can customize it by replacing certain pictures/buttons with your own, for example, you could replace the template's banner with your own. banners can be made here:Bannerfans.com (if you dont know what a banner is, it is basically a long picture on top of your site that displays your company name, or website name

thanks everyone for the info and help i appreciate it a lot i'm looking at some of the links posted in here now and i think they will be helpful

also wordpress is an option i have been thinking about but since they are technically blogs i wasnt sure if they would be considered "professional." i will look into making a wordpress though now that i have heard so much good stuff about it.
