When I was first starting out, i just simply started looking through Google for ppc blogs. There are tons of them out there and they all pretty much say the same things. Honestly though, the best way to learn is to quit looking for the legendary "magic pill" and just jump in. The people who write the guides and take your money did just that. They had the desire, patience, and fortitude to dive in and learn from their mistakes.

the real truth is...learning PPC isnt easy.

Its a science. and you must take it that way and learn how to respect the beast.

I would suggest with starting Google Adwords. Check out the google learning center for adwords to learn all about Google Adwords. Do you have any money to buy a product for learning PPC?

Yes, goto the google adwords learning center. PPC can be quite a task to learn. Don't believe the hype. The only thing easy about it is how easy it is to lose money if you don't know what you are doing.

Here's my easy , simple suggestion for learning PPC in a way you don't spend a ton of money. You may get lucky , you may not, but I was lucky on my 2nd try.

Go to 7search.com and register for a PPC account.....7search allows penny clicks (One cent per click) and find yourself some zipsubmits or other stuff like that.

Direct link them, and see what happens...It might work , it might not. IMO it's a good way to play around and try something (unlike most people).

7search traffic is VERY POOR , but the clicks are so cheap, they just about compensate eachother in a very newbie friendly way.

Correct if I'm wrong, but after looking into PPC websites...how could it not be a scam? There is no way they can get advertisers to pay for the horrible traffic they'll be getting? The traffic advertisers get will be from people who could care less about your website and are desperate for another ad to click on to make some more money. After all the account upgrades, sooner or later the PPC will have to start paying people and eventually they close and keep everyone's money. I'm not sure how these PPC websites work in a honest way..

There are plenty of them that are 100% legitimate.

    Ever buy a house?
    How about a car?
    Insurance?
    A TV?
    DVD Player?
    Computer?
    How about a lawyer referral?

I could go on and on , but in all the above referenced items, all those businesses operate off of COMMISSIONS.

All these CPA offers give you a commission of a sale of a different product.

Last time I checked there were something along the lines of 5,000,000 different products you could promote online.

Sure , some will be scummy , while others are legitimate.

I live in a small town of 12,000 people, and before I got into this CPA stuff, I made about $30,000/yr from using adwords + SEO to sell houses. It's pretty amazing stuff.

PPC works as long as you track and measure everything. I wouldn't start a pay per click campaign without good analytics in place.

I agree with dburdon. Tracking is very important. I would suggest prosper202.com as a good free one to use.
