If you have an established site, it's easier to let the link requests come to you. Just install some link exchange software on your site, then go through approving requests once or twice a week. Search sites with simular relevance and email them direct requesting to exchnage links. Tell them why you think it's a good idea to exchnage links - i.e - their visitors will benifit from your xxxxx. Also mention that you think there xxxx is a cool idea and would benfiit your users. Compliment them on there site (content/design) One last tip - Don't use a free email account like gmail or yahoo, send the emails from an email on your domain - Good luck!
