I am just wondering. If my gmail inbox/mails are all PR 8.

If I email myself my site few thousand times, will I get a higher pagerank?

Any feedback on this? Will this work? Just started emailing myself

+ Rep me if this works ;)

How on earth could it pass PR ?
It is your own personal mail inbox. Is it regularly crawled by google bot ?

+ Rep me if this doesn't work ;)

No this wont work. If google could read and index peoples email inboxes, then everyones personal emails would be available to search through on the interenet. Its never gonna happen, plus your email accounts are password protected annyway!

This would be a funny loophole, but there's no way that Google would allow GMail to pass PR. Think about how high the PR would be on those spam sites.

no - since Gmail knows you're using your own account. Even if you sent it to a few thousand people, it still wouldnt affect your page rank, only your unique hits.

Here's what you do. Create a spider to crawl your gmail inbox and post your mail as comments to a high PR blog. Then when google crawls the blog, your emails will get indexed and the posts will pass page rank. In the meantime, I'll be able to search for passwords to your bank accounts and porn. Sounds like a good idea to me. In the meantime, you just keep spamming yourself. Perhaps you might also want to select the "report as spam" button for your own emails. That might get google to pay attention as well.

How can Google access your e-mail account, read your e-mails, then index the e-mails?
