Easy way to get a Credit Card in india?

Hi friends,

What is the easy way to get a credit card in India.I plan to do full time internet marketing.I cannot provide most of the documents generally banks ask.Is there any bank which give credit cards based on the deposit only?

My primary objective is the verify paypal and don't want to use VCC.I plan to sell my ebook using paypal and want to maintain a healthy relationship with them.

Yes, you can open a FD of Rs.20000 in ICICI and get a CC easily.

Does that becomes a zero average quarterly balance account? Or is there any scheme like that? In HDFC Bank for a FD of Rs.50,000, you get a cc and becomes zero balance account. And if you have a cc from ICICI then you can tell me; i want to open a new account in ICICI Bank exclusively for Instant Credit Card but after opening the account how long do they take to deliver me the credit card? Is it on the spot delivery?

Well you can go for HDFC bank credit cards, they offer best services in this business. Give them fix deposit of Rs 50,000 and they will issue you card and also your account will be made no frill account (i.e zero balance account) and after one week you can even break that F.D and use that money or else those F.D's are sweep in F.D's which means you can withdraw the required amount from your ATM card when you needed and rest of the amount including your interest remains in F.D form and you continue availing better rate of interest on them.

Is the age of my account important?.I think in order to get a credit card from HDFC, my house should be in city area.My brother's request for a credit card was declined because of this issue.

If you're going for ICICI Bank's Credit Card then, you should be minimum 18 years. Not sure about HDFC.

How long do ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank takes to issue the instant credit card by fixed deposit? I wanna open a new account exclusively for credit card but do they deliver it on the spot?

For the instant credit card your account's age isn't important. You'll just have to fulfill the minimum Fixed Deposit amount. And nowadays HDFC Bank is giving away credit cards just for maintaining good account balance but your account needs to be minimum two months old. Hope that helps.
