How do you find good places like blogs and good forum threads related to your keyword where you can just slip in a link to your site? I think I came up with an easy way to build backlinks - simply go to article directories such as ezine and find related articles and post comments on them linking to your page. Would this be any good?
Niche keyword + site:blogspot.com (or wordpress.com, or whatever). Niche keyword + "comments". Niche keyword + vbulletin (there's a specific way to find vbulletin boards, it slipped my mind, though).
Simple way to get latest blog or news for a particular keyword is Google alerts. Set them according to you and got lot of new and good quality blogs and news. Google Alerts will help you a lot.
1)find niche websites accoding to popularity of its page rank and link profile and ask them for guest posting. 2)Post articles on article marketing sites, squidoo, hubpages etc. 3)Use forums like DPF. For all these make sure link back to your site without spam.
I have been using http://www.big-boards.com/ to find message boards and forums. Not perfect, the filter function is not as useful as it should be, but it is a helpful tool.
I use google operators to easily search for sites. And besides, I think it is better to search site manually than using automated software because you'll earn QUALITY backlinks. It's better to follow the rules of the website than just spam it. u know what I mean.
Search each site manually or probably you can contact someone who is offering services for that. I came up with level1links.com in the Google search.
Footprints with Google operator is very helpful for getting niche forums & blogs but mainly it needs experience to find such sites.
^^This. Essentially what everyone uses is Google 'custom searches' like the above, but they're usually much more advanced. Search it if you want to learn it.
Yes, that would be good as long as you don't spam. Or you could visit Yahoo! Answers, find related questions to your niche and post a link to your page there.
Learn from your competitors. Use a website like ahrefs.com and find out where your competitors are getting their back-links from. Usually you'll find some good forums/blogs that way.
