I am hearing that it is easy to get kicked off of youtube.com for good if you are flagged by a visitor. And then they ban your gmail account and youtube as well... is this true? or just fear mongering.
Depends on the video. If your youtube account only has spam videos, you can get banned. The more people flagg the video, the faster it will get controlled.
It usually happens if you post videos that are not suitable for anyone under 18 but you forget to restrict access. YT will remove your videos and give you a warning. If it happens again, they may restrict access to your account.
Be sure to follow YouTube rules and don't use copyrighted materials. Google owns Youtube and Google is all about rules, so it stands to reason there are rules to follow on YouTube.
It is somewhat true, but a lot of things get by YouTube. There is still a ton of hate speech, bullying, copyrighted material, and so forth on YouTube that flies under the radar.
I don't think a youtube ban will get your other google products banned! I know for sure that a banned adsense or adwords account does not affect the other google products! I 100% sure that with Youtube is the same
I don´t think so. I am on youtube since many years but with normal video content. I think those who get banned, have spam content. Then yes... it is possible.
Make sure that you post quality videos, stop posting videos which are not suitable for people under 18, if you cant avoid try to mention the same. Share it with people, get embeds on articles, sites, get views, social shares and you should be fine.
