Is the traffic from Digg even worth it these days? I've heard it said many times that digg users don't click ads, and I assume they don't buy either, so unless you are running CPM ads, why would you want a one off visitor? Does being dugg get you lots of links from bloggers, for that more long term traffic?
It depends on what topic gets you dugg. A blogger friend of mine had his subscriber count increase by more than 300 after one of his blog posts got dugg. But if you don't have a great article, and it is just an MFA post, then you will not see any great returns apart from burning bandwidth..
My site made it to: Digg + del.icio.us once simultaneously Reddit + del.icio.us once simultaneously Stumbleupon once
Creating 50 accounts on Digg with different IP is not a joke. It requires time especially in changing IP if you are only using one PC.
I tend to believe this, I did a test and it looked to me most of the digg users were using firefox, and if they are using firefox, than I'm sure they are using an adblocker.
I was thinking about that. If you use enough different proxies, Digg would have a hard time figuring out that it was all one person. Of course, it would take a good amount of time and effort, but it seems like it could be possible.
But think about it. It would take around 1 hour to login, digg, logout, reset ip address on 50 different accounts. Then 1 hours of work will bring in thousands of traffic visitors..
Yep, It's probably possible to do it, But, You need to have a good article posted, If you are posting spam kinda articles, your story won't hit the frontpage and your story will get deleted. You also need to create digg accounts from different IPs, It's really hard to do it. I'd prefer to pay 0.25$ for each digg to someone instead. You can easily get around 30 diggs in 2 hours if you start a thread on Freebies section.
Everytime i logon to the internet i have a different ip but it still reverses to the same service provider but i think it would work if i had the time
Well, there are some systems that enables people to exchange votes on di.gg. Somewhat cheating but if your story is bad, you will lose it in no time. Diggboss is one of the site where people gather from all around the world and exchange votes one another. So, it's safe from different IP checker. It's now by the name piqq. The site is based on invitation only to avoid "crazy" cheaters (I guess). Well, incase you want an invitation code, here it is: http://piqq.us/signup.php?r=2362&c=4c7idkhimp474ed1b7d6 When it says "invalid" then somebody here already used it. Post here asking another one, I'll post new one asap. Regards,
hey can u tell me is their any page which has PR 7,PR 8 and PR9 if yes, please can u send me the URL's?
Even if you did you wouldn't hit the front page. Unless the story was pretty good it would get dugg down in a few minutes. A story getting Dugg by 50 accounts all with little user history would be sure to raise some flags and may get manually buried anyway. You're missing the point. Webmasters don't submit to Digg for the traffic - it's useless. They submit for the links that they aquire. The most links I've seen for a single story is 18,000 Simple - become a regular user, network, make friends, digg other people's stories, make your own submissions good. The definitive guide on how to get Dugg
