Here's my list: Subscribe to RSS feed Petition Google News to include your website. Add your site as a favorite in Technorati. Join blogrush if they have a blog Add you to their blogroll. Email your stories to their friends. Submit your stories to Digg, Netscape, and reddit (within reason). Install Alexa tool bar (this one could be controversial) Add you to Delicious. Any suggestions.
Advertise your links as part of their own sig links for free. Word of mouth. Blog on their personal blogs about your site, waxing eloquent about your site. Social networking.
let them put your site in their email signature. ask them put in in their Messenger Username. put sticker with your url on their cars. give them free T-shirt with your logo on it .
1. Check the local news for stories about a robbery or burglary -- especially for one where the victim is a child or a needy family. 2. Ask all of your friends, family, co-workers, church, etc. to pitch in raising reward money. They will want to help because it will make them all feel good. 3. Contact the local media to announce the reward money for information leading to the capture and conviction of the criminal. Tell them that more information about the reward can be found on your website. 4. When media makes the reward announcement, you get free publicity. If the criminal is caught, you get free publicity. If he/she is not caught, donate the money to a charity for more free publicity. Either way, you get your website on TV for much, much cheaper than buying a commercial. Cheers! ~L
