Content is King. Create unique useful content and submit it through sites such as PRweb. Make sure you have posted that content on your site and it's been indexed prior to submitting to any article sites as google only gives value to the 1st couple sites with original content.

I agree with you williams. Yes we used to learn that when we were just a beginner, the scenario now has changed and the SEO is getting tougher, it is not that easy for high competition keywords though it is not impossible also.

I agree with all your points. I would like to add about bookmarking. Bookmarking your site in popular sites like digg, stumbleupon, reddit etc and in other dofollow sites helps to build quality backlinks and high ranking in SERP.

 

All nice ideas, the longest and hardest is getting those link exchanges, most website admins will not like giving out a link for their PR5+ domain to a new site
