Easy steps to submit sitemap?

Tell me whether a short website with 1 webpage needs to submit sitemap?

Anyone who can really help how to submit sitemap?I have no idea.Please suggest easy and simple way.

 

You should submit a sitemap if you want to get indexed fast and accurate. Go to Google Webmasters (google.com/webmasters), log in with your Google account and follow the instructions.

 

can a website with only one page be called a website or just a webpage?

 

Register the website for rss feeds.
Make your rss feed as sitemap.

 

For 1 page website i don't think that it's necessary, but you can use the following links to submit your site map to Google, Yahoo and Msn.

You can also submit your sitemap to other search engines. Yahoo, Ask, and MSN also use sitemaps.

 

Also you should use a robots.txt and add the line to your sitemap, if you do add one. Even with a one page site that will help them find it. Though if it is only ever going to be one page I do not know if it will help any.

 

If you have a a website with a single page, I would definitely not bother submitting a sitemap Otherwise you may want to check this xml sitemap submit tutorial.

yes can submit your sitemap in many search engine and also in google search engine.

 

My suggestion is create Google webmaster tool account and submit your sitemap.

 

your website having only one page in it. then there is no need to submit sitemap. you just have to submit your one page site url in google site submissions using following url.

I don't see any immediate need to submit a sitemap since there is only 1 page . But you can do it in future at

Use XML Sitemap generator plugin, easy to use

 

Sitemap won't give you High PR, but will help Search engine to better indexing and crawling.
