The easiest way to get links that I have found, for any niche, is to go to google. Search whatever niche your in "keyword" then "forum"
Sign up for the forum, Then start to make post, including links, also, be sure to
also make a signature file. Also try comment sniper (Google it), it is cool and free. How it works is, you find people in your niche who have blogs, and followers of that blog. Comment sniper will notify you when a new blog post is made, so you can be the first to respond to it, which everyone will see. Also try social marker (Google it), the way that this works is it will bookmark all your links for you, but you have to make a profile at all their bookmarking sites, which will take some time. But all these sites have a very high PR, so it would be worth the effort. Another way to build backlinks is with twitter. You will want many followers (obvious) You can also make facebook groups. Which is really easy, chances are a friend of yours have done it and can tell you how. Last free thing I suggest is that you get a cloak your links, I use bit.ly (also Google this) because you can track the number of times people click your links in real time! I seriously love it! Well I hope that helps, now go build some links (or outsource it) and make some cash!

    To Profits!

forum signature is not a very efficient method of building backlinks anymore. each forum page has ton of external links and usually stays on the category front page for a limited period of time. so search engines have very short window to index the pages and follow all the links within. more external links a page has, less value each link recieves. if you want good quality backlinks, i suggest forum sigs to be your last option

Usually the "link:www.yourwebsite.com" command on google not always display all links, try "linkdomain:www.yourwebsite.com" on yahoo

I'll have to try some of these. Trackle has been very good for finding blogs in my niche.

My personal favorit for getting backlinks still are the article directories. I use spin2submit to automatically submit to hundreds of article directories with 2 backlinks in the signature box. I guess other software will also do the job for you.

The only problem I see with this method is that most probably the moderators won't be happy if you post a reply in some 2-3-4 years old thread.
Put some backlinks with anchor text and I can already see your account being banned, post deleted and thread closed :D

Sure, ezine (for example) articles rank pretty well in Google - that means not only quality backlinks to your site but targeted traffic as well.
Submit unique articles to the top 10 article directories and you will be surprised with the results.

dont forget that alot of autoblogs use the rss feeds of article directories to get content. this can get you some extra backlinks. (viral marketing)
