Thank you for sharing. This is just what I need – I'm setting up my new forum site and I want to integrate the "Facebook Connect" application. Where can I find the different files for uploading? Can this application be integrated in a Wordpress blog? I use Wordpress for most of my websites.

I spent a whole day trying to work out the Facebook Connect application, but in the end, Thank God, I got it installed and working. I found a Wordpress plugin which places the Facebook Connect button on the widget bar. This is a great plugin and it's just perfect for connecting the Wordpress Blog with the Facebook account.

 

What is the Wordpress plugin's name?

 

go to your wordpress admin

click on plugins
click on add plugin
at top search for facebook connect

then pick anyone you like and install

This plugin not only has a login widget but also a comment's window as well as a live stream widget. In addition you can add a comments widget with an option for posting comments to your facebook wall.

 

This is very much worth integrating. More and more sites are utilizing this function, personally I use it as often as possible. Over time more people will be doing the same thing I mean look at the sheer amount of avid Facebook users.

 

if you dont know what it is its possible you dont need it.

Facebook connect allows people to sign up for and login to your site with their facebook information.

If you are using wordpress then you can download lots of plugins to connect fb to your wordpress site.
