I'm sure the reason TakeThat doesn't choose a winner is because he isn't satisfied with the entries. I feel that some contest creators feel they MUST choose a winner, but nowhere is it stated that they HAVE to. Ethically they should, or at least make it longer but generally most try to 'disappear'.
very well said mate, but at least Contest Holders should be courteous enough to inform participants why and what are the reasons he didnt select a winner, other might feel bad about the criticisms and see it as a lame reason not to pay anyone but others use it as inspiration or fuel to become better.
Indeed. As an artist personally I feel it's need to improve. As a freelancer rejection should be normal. It's never guaranteed. Personalities vary and we just have to get used to that in the business world. However TakeThat has paid out before and chose a winner. View his $40.00 mascot thread. He didn't say who the winner was but they guy bongo something had won. There's even itrader feedback from the contest. Maybe TakeThat had chose someone as a winner but didn't let anyone know.
I noticed you submission to this contest. I recently joined this forum to outsource some projects for our website PokerTournamentConsultants.com One job we will need is to have some features added to our site like subscribe to newsletter, multicolumn liquid layout, etc... First I'll be running a logo contest and then the website redesign so please look for any contest I run in the next week or so because I would like to see your submission.
