Easy $50 contest. Need small logo, avatar and icon

I need a few graphics for this website www.nichestoremarket.com. All on transparent backgrounds, layered png or psd files and a copy of the fonts used if you can provide them (non-commercial).

You can see the "idea" I had going for the logo at the link above. It is not coming out the way I want though.

What I want are the letters NSM created into a logo/brand and then nice and eye catching lettering for the text 'Niche Store Market' and the tag line 'The Next Generation of Affiliate Marketing' that compliments the site design. The site just has demo content on it now but that is the layout and color scheme we will be using.

The logo area is 444x68 and I would like to use most of that area, the current logo is too small. I do not care if different colors are used than in the sample logo I have on the site now if you think something would fit the design/style better. Logo should have a nice web 2.0 look and maybe some reflection underneath it. The letters NSM should have depth to them. I thought about incorporating a puzzle peice(s) with it but not sure how it would look.

I would also like an avatar in about 90x90 with just the NSM letters and the tag line and a favicon of the NSM letters. If it works to incorporate the puzzle pieces in the main logo then I would like to try to use them in the avatar and icon also.

This contest will run until December 14th then a winner (or two) will be picked. On the 15th the site comes down, gets transferred to a new hosting account and we start building the real site.

I like the initial design. On the logo I think the nsm part may too big (wide) in proportion to the rest of the site. I'd like the wording to have a little more "kick" to it also rather than just flat. Maybe a little shine or drop shadow (or both).

On the avatar I don't want the words Niche Store Market just the NSM and the tag line The Next Generation of Affiliate Marketing. I like the background and appearance but would like to see the NSM centered and not so wide.

Overall I am not 100% on the colors of the NSM, I think I would rather not have blue in it now that I've seen a sample with it.

I like a lot of that. Do you think it would be possible to move the coupon/tag under the NSM letters? Not sure if the tag line inside it will still be readable. If we can then lower the Niche Store Market lettering down so it is inline with the NSM letters

That is kind of the idea I had had with the puzzle peices. Is it possible to get them horizontal though instead of downhill and Niche Store Market all on one line. That way the logo could be larger, it would be pretty small in the current layout.

Sorry I did not get in yesterday, it was one of those days!

So far I plan on running this until the 14th. If that has to change for any reason or I need to move the deadline up I will post at least 2 days in advance so everyone has a chance to get their submissions in. So Monday is fine.

Interesting idea. I like the bottom one with the reflection but I don't really like the blue. I was also thinking/wondering what it would look like with the letters NSM on the puzzle box being more dominant and then dropping the letters NSM that are by themselves.

What can I say? That is awesome. You captured a lot of the ideas I had in my head but was not able to get out. That is definitely in the running. I actually don't have any suggestions or changes I'd like to see (right now- lol)

I like the lettering but don't like the shopping cart. There is already a shopping cart in the header and I think that is a little too much to have another. If you have another idea I would like to see it.

It interesting and very professional looking. I like it, I am just trying to determine how it could work into the site. I may have to think on that for a little bit.

I like everything except the shopping cart. I am wanting to stay away from a shopping cart in the logo.

That is much better, thanks. I like it like that. The layers could be scaled couldn't they if I wanted to adjust the sizes some? There is no need to add another one scaled differently, just as long as I know I could if that is the one we go with.

Cool design. I like it. Could the tag line about next generation be moved under the NSM and then the words Niche Store Market be lowered and more inline with the NSM part?
