I've heard (confidently) short stories like the one you're asking for sell for around $1000 in the US & UK. I would be glad if you'd pay more than what you are offering. I am doing a creative writing course from a well-known writing school. We could share the profits. PM me if you find this offer interesting.
It is certainly refreshing to see a new request on here, but omshanti is right. The minimum you can expect to pay would be around $300 - and even then you wont be getting quality work. If you update your offer I, amongst many others I'm sure, would be interested.
I agree with AlexisPetrov.. You will have a lot of competitor with that price.. Don't think you'll get a quality one
