Easiest way to upload 10,000 products on PRESTASHOP?

    I am going to launch a website using PRESTASHOP. I need to upload a inventory of 8,000 - 10,000 products. I did it through .CSV but it takes a lot of time as I have image on EXTERNAL SERVER and the EXTERNAL IMAGE url's are first downloaded and then resized which takes a lot of time.


    I just wanted to know what else could be an easier method?

    You've got the best method... Depending on bandwith and server configuration, it should not take more than 30 mins to complete.

    If you could download the images directly to your server before making the import, it could save you a lot of time...

    It sound interesting to try prestashop. All I know that prestashop is Open Source but I have not tried this :)
