I'm looking for the easiest way to publish an RSS feed on a Wordpress page. I know I can use widgets to publish them to the sidebar and I know there are plugins that do various things, but I'm looking for something simple that will hopefully just let me enter the feed URL somewhere and it will be displayed on the main body of the page of my choosing.
My friend, You'll need an RSS feed script that will allow you to parse RSS feeds into your WordPress blog. Now, if your blog is hosted on WordPress, then you're out of gas...lol However, if it's hosted on your personal domain which enhances the professionaliam of your online entity, then you're "in the bag". Basically, do a Google search for "RSS feeds on my site" or something along that route & you'll see search engine listings for programs you can purchase which are inexpensive. By bypassing using Widgets to show RSS feeds on your self-hosted WordPress blog, basically the search engines are going to index those feeds as "your content" and you will be indexed more frequently, in addition to gaining better search engine rankings. Widgets are for people who don't have their own server and are. By installing the RSS program on your web hosting plan, it's server side scripting. If you need a server also, I recommend you check www Merchant-Services dot Drewryonline dot net... Thanks kindly, Shawn
