Easiest Alexa Country

What country do you think is the easiest to get the lowest ranking on? My site has been up for like 20 days and is ranked as such in the following countries:

New Zealand 26,804
United States 242,2487
India 295,993

I am guessing New Zealand must be pretty easy.

 

What tools did you use to rank ?

 

I didn't use any tools.

I can only say that New Zealand is not the easiest.

If you are talking of countries I reckon Luxembourg could well be an easy one to crack as it is so small.

Don't think this really matters though. What good will it be for your website

It's easiest to get the best rank, if you target a particular country.
Someone above said it's easiest to get the best rank in luxemburg - well only if you are offering something of interest to the people of luxemburg.

 

The smaller the country the easier, simple. I am top 100 for one nation, great it has a population of 40,000. Wow.

All things being equal, say a NZ a site will rank higher than USA.

Smaller a nation, easier to get a higher rank if something is of interest to the residents.

 

Really the whole question is rather pointless. Increasing your alexa rank isn't important. Increasing traffic and improving search engine rankings is important. Work at increasing your traffic and your alexa rank will automatically go up. It is not something worth obsessing over though. It is as pointless as obsessing over Google PR. If you are going to obsess over the stats, choose the right stats to obsess over. Also you only want to spend time trying to improve Alexa rank for a certain country if you can actually make money from visitors in that country. Some websites only really make money from one or two countries.

 

I think you can check your site details on Alexa rank tool . That will tell you ranking of your site or blog country wise .

 

That's not true. You can have a higher rank in the US compared to NZ and still get more traffic from the US since the size of both markets are not the same.

 

I guess you simply don't understand how Alexa works. First of all to get a ranking in a country you need to have visitors of that country to visit your site, it is not something you decide here. Furthermore those visitors need to have the Alexa toolbar installed.

To reply to your questions developping countries (especially Africa) should be the easiest to rank from. I am originally from Togo (West Africa) though living in China now, whenever I return to my country for holiday most of my sites show a top 100 or top 50 within a couple of days. Easy, because very people use the Internet in Togo and even less have ever heard about Alexa. Does it mean that during my days in Togo visitors from Togo are more than visitors from China or other countries? Absolutely NOT! I am probably the UNIQUE visitor while I get thousands of visitors from China, Hong Kong, USA, Australia etc.
