Earth's North Pole And South Pole, Possibility Of Flip Flop

Looks like Earth's north magnetic pole is drifting away from North America and toward Siberia at an alarming pace.
There is a remote possibility of reversal of earths magnetic pole that is north pole may become south pole and vice versa after some decades.
Will that affect the weather of all the continents drastically ? Will North America be then called South America?
What are your opinion about flip flop of the poles?

The earth's orientation to the sun does not change as magnetic north changes. But, during the shift, the protection offered by our magnetic field will decline and we receive more radiation than normal, which could result in a spike in skin cancer around the world. Interestingly, cockroaches would be unaffected,

I do not believe this affects the weather as much as it affects technology.

Scientists think this has happened many times in the past and will happen many times in the future. In just the same way as animal species have risen to dominate the planet, only to go extinct. And in the same way our sun will one day expand so much that earth becomes mercury.

Well.... poo that's what I was going to say. It's interesting to say the least, possibly the cause of the Bermuda triangle weirdness too from what I read. Imagine most of the with the same weird effects as there...
