GoDaddy gives it a certified appraisal of $19,067. Anyone care to take a stab at a more realistic figure? The site has logged close to 3100 hits in 2 1/2 weeks.

you paid for the appraisal? What happens with the domain when all the news media stops covering news about Haiti?

Yes, unfortunately there is a small fee for the appraisal. Value of this domain is more for my own curiosity. I do realize the limited timeframe for which this domain name is of interest. For that reason I have concentrated more on cashparking this domain.

Godaddy's domain appraisals are worth as much as the toilet paper they're written on :D

This is an interesting domain, but as vivideye said, it is a short-term subject. It's probably in your best interest to auction it off right away...try Sedo!

They might be valued right now, but in a couple of months they're not going to be worth anything. That and GoDaddy doesn't value websites good.

the best thing for you to do is redirect this domain to one of the haiti relief sites , many domainers bought up 100s of domains at dnforum and redirected haiti domains to relief aid sites.

Seems like what is popular in the news at the time sells good on Ebay. Right now there are alot of Haiti domains as well as Ipad domains doing well there.
