i was just talking to my friend and she felt an earthquake just 2 minutes ago, she is in chino hills, orange county CA about 30 miles east of LA
interesting. These aren't all that uncommon from my understanding, was it a big one? I haven't seen any news on it.
There are a lot of earthquakes in California... Some very minor , mostly medium, rare deadly. UPDATE: It is a 4.7 rate. Was just on FOX news.
2.5 and centered at Santa Ana thats 20 mile south of Jessica at Chino Hills, she said the house just shook

Samantha, you shotted a breaking news BTW: i was watching NG and there too it was a documentary about earth quarks, and a geologist who can predict earth quakes presented a theory that it is moon who trigger earthquakes, very strange, isnt it?
I'm around 30 miles north of the epicenter and we felt it.. wasn't all that strong where we are, but it seemed to last a long time.. 4.7 isn't all that big but we dont get ones that large very often.. worst case with one that size is maybe a broken dish or two if you are close to the epicenter.. of course there is always the worry that this is a pre-shock to "the big one" .. .
