Hmmmm... Speaking of solar panels, I remember hearing about someone discovering what was like, the darkest matter or something. My question is, is anyone harnessing that into making better solar panels that'll absorb that much more of the sun's energy?
Why would they go 100%? It's much better to stay connected to the grid and that way you can sell your extra solar power back to the power company.

I've had it with this Earth hour crap. The only awareness we need to raise is that the emperor has no clothes. People, you can not save the planet by turning off your lights. If we ALL turn off ALL our lights, and our cars, and our furnaces then we will all shiver in the dark tonight and the planet will STILL not be saved. There is a simple explanation. I hate to ruin everyone's day, but the Earth is not dieing. From time to time, it has an ice age. From time to time a really really big asteroid whacks it. The odd time a gamma ray burst from a dying star bakes us a bit. But still, the Earth survives. Honestly, do you believe that the Earth made it through four billion years of everything the universe could throw at it, yet you personally will kill it by driving your SUV to dance class? google turned its lights off in canada as well i am participating in EARTH HOUR 2.2 million people joined in last year, and saved 10% of energy!
If it goes to be a tradition, maybe additional 1 billion people that is projected increase of world population in the next decade or two will also turn off their lights for an hour once a year so the huge increase in consumption of energy will be slowed for at least that little bit.
