Earns took a hit yesterday - Thanksgiving?

My earnings and traffic took a bit of a hit yesterday. I guess its down to this Thanksgiving thing in the US? We dont get nothing like that in the UK.

Anyway back to normal today.

Anyone else notice a drop yesterday?

 

Same thing happened to me too. And it looks like today it's going to be the same. On monday things should get back to normal. Get ready for the Xmas Traffic

 

I did notice that and was wondering why, i was down by around 50%-60% traffic and revenue, but the day before that i was about 50% above normal so it kind of evened out, today seems ok so far...

 

Yes, I took a hit. I get a lot of US traffic.

 

Black Friday today will be a bit slow as well, then cyber monday hopefully will pick up again next week.

 

For me, the traffic has decreased 40% in the past two days. So the earnings are also decreased. Today, things are the same and my earnings have dropped further.

 

me too , this is what happens when you put build a business feeded by the search engines (ups and downs all the time)

 

My traffic was the same but CPM was down 50%, wow!

yep, my revenue was down yesterday as well. never thought it could be due to US thanksgiving. in Canada, we celebrate thanksgiving in October while US does it in Nov. you dont have anything like that in UK because its a North American thing

 

Oh... DUH. I am sitting here puzzled... Lol I always get on D.P. when I am confused with AdSense.
But duh... Thanksgiving. We're probably the only ones on the computer. lol

Yes - I noticed a difference with the traffic and sales.

 

it may be the thanksgiving..I noticed too

 

Took a 20% hit on Friday and Saturday. Sunday was back to normal and today (so far) is a little above normal.
