    Many reasons.

Load a script on your site. Figure out what is being clicked, then dump all the ads of pages that are not being used, or figure out why they are not being used.

    Information is power.

And if you want to make money, you need to figure out what to do with the information you already have. That is a big component of marketing.

People who rely on luck nearly always lose.

Look up "smart pricing." It's possible that your sites have been smart priced. That happened to me. I don't understand exactly how it works, but basically it's a way for Google to "punish" Adsense accounts that aren't getting the same amount of clicks across all their sites. So let's say you have ten sites running Adsense. On one of them you get lots of clicks. THe rest don't perform so well. The earnings from your good performing site will start to go down if Google doesn't see you working to get more clicks on the other, nonperforming sites. At least this is how I understand it - that if you have lower performing Adsense sites your higher performing ones will suddenly start to earn less. Others here can correct me if I'm wrong. But I believe that my blogs were smart priced earlier this year. That's why when earnings on them suddenly dropped I switched over to affiliate links and haven't looked back since. Affiliate links are so much more profitable anyway. I think Adsense is dying.

But there is no authoritative source that tells if smart pricing is per account or per site. We only have rumors

Loads of people are complaining about getting less for their clicks

I must say I haven't noticed the specific problem you are describing

It may be smart pricing of just the luck of the draw. {eople may just be clicking on the ads lower on your page
The only way to figure this out is either using the channels option in your google account or buying some software like adsense tracker
