Earnings linked to PR and URL

I changed my domain name a few days ago from one with a PR rating of 4. Up to then I was earning quite nicely for the type of site. After the change my earnings started dropping to an all-time low, with roughly the same amount of visitors and clicks.

Do you guys think that your earnings are in some way related to your site's PR and even the URL you use?

Of course I think it's much more likely that advertisers aren't willing to spend as much with the end of the month approaching and ad budgets being depleted, but it is an interesting thought...

Nothing to do with it. Might as well claim that it was caused because you decided to wear boxers instead of briefs :D

"I changed my domain name a few days ago "....so now you have a new site with old content... correct me if I am wrong...in such a case your site is a new one for google now...PR may not be affecting the ads you get, but your past performance does i think..

Maybe because the new domain of your site has not been indexed by Google and Google displayed ads with low payouts.
