Earnings dropped from $20 a day to $6 a day. Smart priced?

I need a little bit of help here.

I am running adsense on a couple of my sites and the earnings have dropped of the edge. From making $20-$25 a day I am now making $6 a day. My CTR is the same but the price per click has dropped by a large amount.

I was smart priced a while ago and I am afraid it has happened again but I am not sure since each click is still valued over $.03.

    Any one have any recommendations?

    Smart pricing or bad pricing....?

The revenue is seeing continuous deceleration since last couple of months with present month breaking new lows....

Wonder where the slide is going to stop!

The traffic is also lower than that of the days when you had a better income, that might be a problem too. And just like the days in which you only made 2 dollars, it is happening now too. So hopefully for you, it will pass and things will get back to normal :)

You're most likely getting smart priced....

Please answer these question then maybe I could help you out with your problem.

What type of site do you have Adsense on? Blogs? Proxy?

If it's a blog, is it optimized for your keyword you are targeting?

It's pretty simple to fix if you can provide me with the answers to these questions...

Has it anything to do with IE or java script. Since a couple of days I cant see any adsense ads in IE but they appear in mozilla, opera and safari. Is it their move or some problem with js of my browser????

This happen to me last time due to my site drop from search engine ranking. What I did is to do frequent blog posting and the earning getting normal again just after two three days. Got the hottest topics to write about from Google Insight. I change the adsense location and color as well.

I think over-optimization is the answer. If you had *success* in promoting the CTR, chances are the eCPM will drop. Think about it, when you send much more traffic, the quality of the traffic is diluted which will sooner or later be reflected on eCPM.

I don't know what happened right now, but I get $40-$50+ a day about 200 click.. If you put your adsense code in some website, I think It will impact your adsense profit.. I have got experienced about this..

I'd remove your CTR & Clicks otherwise you wont be earning anything.

find the least performing blog and remove it.Its better to do it this way rather than getting so little clicks. You can track which gets least amount by analytics.

I have 2 sites, 2 get high ctr. I get lots of traffic from SE. My google adsense click value very low. High CTR reason for smart pricing.

It can't be Smart Pricing like google said because I am using Adwords too and my Adwords has been increase almost 50% and my earning is drop like crazy. I think google take more comminsion now a day and try to show profit for 2nd quarter report...

Google claim Smart Pricing will help Advertiser. BUT i dont see that
