So I have not owned a server for some time. I decided to come back start with a project to generate some revenue from Google Adsense. What I built was a homepage powered by the Google search bar.

GoogleConnect.us is the ultimate homepage. It offers the same features as its Father site Google.com, including the Google Powered search bar and the easy to use Image Search link.

Aside from the basic features of Google, it connects users to some of the prime websites they already use. For instance, this clean homepage will connect you to your pre-logged in accounts for: Facebook, Twitter, Gmail Netflix, Ebay, Paypal, Pandora.. just to name a few. When you click a service, like Facebook for instance.. it will load in a new tab for the user.

I wanted to keep the page as clean as possible well still generating a revenue from Google Adsense. So I only incorporated one small banner on the bottom of the page, which seems to appear very clean.

I was worried about what type of Adsense Ads may appear, with such little content. However I found by naming each link with corresponding words used for SEO, it is generating ads of the same interest. I also found it generating ads of things I searched for on the web earlier that day. So I found this great. Google Adsense really has a brain of it own.

It has been a slow start and the only way I have promoted this start page (homepage) is on my twitter accounts. I got a click the 2nd day up and running but no revenue. I was just happy to see a click. Today the first revenue was generated. 1 click generating $.36. Not bad for only 22-40 unique hits a day at this point. I will dive into marketing the site shortly as it comes out of its beta stages.

First I just wanted to get advice on critiquing the site for the best Adsense friendly layout. I want to keep it clean and keep from puttin any ads on teh header of the website, all though that is typically the sweet spot for Adsense. I want the users to have a good experience, rather then squeeze out an extra nickel.

Do you like the layout? Do you have any suggestions for add ons or improvements. Thank you.

I dont see him harming anyone it would make a good browser home page in my opinion but am not sure if your allowed to use the google logo in that way but a good idea :)

and if you add more icons it could make a nice homepage for apple users ;)

Strap on your helmet mobiass. Google encourages this. This is a major part of Adsense. I am sorry your only benefiting from half the program which are the banner ads. God you are such an idiot, lol. Try an learn something here guys.

Block Google.com ads, as you do not get paid for those :( Also, try having ads follow the user down the page. Great site!

Thank you for the great feedback. I would like to block Google Ads which are not paying. I am unsure how to at this point. I am in my Adsense account in the AdReview Center. But im afraid to block any of the Google Networks. Do you know what specific one will block the non paying google ads?

    Thanks!

;) Because it links you directly to pre-logged in accounts such as Ebay, Netflix, Gmail, Fiverr, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube.. stuff like that. It opens in a new tab with a simple one click of the attractive app icons.
