My earnings are down 60% even with 110% more clicks!

    =S

I'm suppose to be making twice if not even more with 110% more clicks. but guess what?? I was making more less than 110% clicks.

I prefer to have lower clicks then if this is the case.

GOOGLE FUCKIN SUCKS but its hard to admit they are the Top one. that's right they are the top one but they suck.

If they start paying me more then ill take my words back

I have been seeing a lot of low paying ads as well. I think, in my case atleast, it may be your niche..

That not my point. My point is why do i get less with more than twice the clicks than before..

    lets say for example.

    I was making $50 for 300 clicks.
Now that im gettin 700 Clicks im getting paid $20 ???

Like what the fuck . At least pay me $51 for 700 clicks and not $20..

Hey playkid watch your language and do some relaxation and breathing exercises to ease that stress anf anger bro. Google people are always visiting DP, so be careful..What did you do differently that you increase your clicks? Try to go back to that and change it like it was, maybe you will see the changes then..

Is this a one off or a trend? If its a trend then it might be that you have been smartpriced.

It's called smartpricing. You will make a steady stream of income for a week or two, and then it plummets nearly in half just like that, without warning, despite the same (or more) clicks, etc. That's Adsense, that's Adsense with Smartpricing. No one can escape it.

How true is smart pricing? Or is it all speculation?

Smartpricing is a Catch-22. Accounts get smartpriced when one of your sites gets a lot of clicks, but the clicks don't convert for the advertiser (they decide this, we have no control over it). The only way to remove smartpricing is to remove Adsense from the site that is getting a lot of clicks, but of course you don't want to do that, as that site probably makes more money than all of your sites combined.

Have you started any new sites with Adsense on them ?
smart pricing can be for your account not just each website.
Is it a small niche ? maybe you got all the top paying clicks and now only have smaller bids being shown.

Smart pricing is real, but I don't think it's being described properly here. It is an actual adjustment google makes to your ppc based on the quality of your site. It's not as random as it sounds.

If you create a topical page that fouses on what your ads are, you won't have any issues. Also, keep in mind that Google isn't setting hte prices normally, what advertisers are bidding has a lot to do with it.

For the record, my Adsense earnings have done nothing by skyrocket up/up and away for the past 6 months. ;)

Nobody says it's random. It's just as described. A lot of clicks + low conversion rates = smartpricing. Simple as that.

That is such a naive thing to say, which leads to...

Figures. You haven't been hit with smartpricing yet (you probably don't make enough to qualify as yet), so you're able to hold onto your naivete regarding Adsense. Have no fear, it shall happen.

Jack, I'm not sure why you decided to pick on me, but I would think if smart pricing was going to kick in, it would have within the past 2 years I've been using adsense.

Probably not made enough to qualify...wtf, get off your high horse. I'm sure there are a few seo chicks here that are impressed with your responses though.

Playkid if you got 700 Clicks and only $20 is there any way you could run some affiliate stuff on your site ?
