oh, so it does not really matter where you put your amazon affiliate links...that really very informative, thanks.
If you're getting that much human traffic and still not making any sales then there's a problem somewhere. I would make sure you are correctly inserting your associate ID into your Amazon links. And make sure you are not only sending any traffic to your site, but also promoting those products. Again, yes, you can place your widgets and links on sites other than the approved site. But it's worth double checking the Terms/conditions of use. Good luck and hope you start earning soon.
Yes, I am checking this myself right now (because I confused my general Amazon name, with the Associates ID). One should also look, if there are at least some click throughs from the pages!
Primarily, yes, but they've got more in store then that. DVD, electronics, household products etc. etc. Is there any type of product you'd like to recommend?
No, Im just curious because I dont know if its worthwhile to list books on my blog. It could certainly be mutually beneficial, but I just want to avoid looking like I'm hawking junk. Know what I mean?
... That can be adjusted. I don't like random ads popping up. But one can also choose a certain book that suits the text on the page for further reading. Let's say your page is an article on African Elephants. In that case you should add a book on african elephants with picture short description and all. Make sure that this is somehow distinguished from the article text. I presume this is going to give you the best yield between visitors and final buyers. The hushed-up marketing methods don't work according to me, that just drives people away.
Hi, my personal opinion is amazon.com products are sold only in USA but the main issue why it still becomes difficult for selling amazon products in US is, most of the people have purchased products directly from them, they get points and they prefer using their own accounts then rather using a affiliate link, that is my perception.
Not too sure about Amazon for a couple of reasons: - slim commissions (4% - 8.5%) You sell a digital camera for $42 and your commission is $1.68 - you have to sell a huge number of products (3000+) to get the 8.5% rate. - you have to wait around 60 days to get paid. - every month the commission rate resets back to 4%. - conversions are kinda iffy. Just my 2 cents.
I don't know how you guys get a good sale from amazon.com but for me it is really not going that well, maybe if you can guide me, that would surely help........
You, and previous posters, need to tell us the following: * How many (human) visitors you had on pages with Amazon offers. * How many clicks to an amazon site. * How many orders. Only that rations are meaningful. Consider the reasons why someone may visit your page.
I don't have visitors and no clicks, i have unique content and i don't know why i don't get visitors from search engines.
I'm guess you are not properly promoting your blog. Spend time on other sites and blogs, and start leaving comments on them. You need to understand that people need to visit your blog for you to make any sale. So, go ahead and start promoting your blog. Good luck
Also mak sure that the relevant pages of your blog are backlinked to with the relevant key words. Perhaps even create a blog for your blog. And yes, find out what the right keywords are.
I make about $50 a month, but it was my first site I created.took me about an hour to make it.I never update it and it is on a free hoist with a free domain so all the money I get is pure profit. Now if I just repeat it 10 times then I could make 500.That is the key with amazon associates. You must have multiple product on focused sites to make the good money
