Hello, I'm a total beginner to adwords and adsense. I'm planning to start promoting my website (Online classifieds) via adwords with a monthly budget of USD 2000 covering only USA, Canada, India & UK. I'll not be promoting the website by any other means except adwords. Now, my question is, what would be the ROI through adsense alone per month?

AdSense is probably not the way you want to go with a classified ads type site. You could incorporate AdSense into your overall layout, just for the slim chances you DO get some clicks, but you should NOT spend $2,000 a month on AdWords JUST to try and make a profit with AdSense. Your BEST option for an Online Classified site is to sell Ad Space. Since you will be using paid traffic, you are already guaranteed there will be a good amount of traffic coming to your site. So potential advertisers will love having their ads in front of all those eyes. A lot of people would want to advertise on many different areas of your site. You could have specific ads running weekly or monthly in every section if you wanted. For example, biz opp ads in your biz opp section of classified ads. Or lawn care ads in your labor or trade section. You could charge anywhere between $10 and $50 a month for ad space to start. As your site grows and your advertisers are reporting good things about their ad spots, you could easily start raising your prices. There are sites out there right now that charge hundreds per week for an ad spot on their site. Overall AdSense CAN be a money maker, but for your particular site, Selling ad space would be MUCH more beneficial
