So basically i wanna earn money on the net but undecided what to do.

I started by having 4 proxy sites, i was hoping this would take off and soon add more. But sadly i got declined by google ad's and then i find out google dont particualy like proxys. So i dont want to risk getting my account disabled from google.

So i basically need to make a new site. I have a few options i could go into just undecided which one.

    I could either:

    1. Make an arcade site.
I like the idea of this just put off by the amount of competition il have.
    2. Photoshop/tutorials website with vB forum
    3. Start a blog

Which one in the long run will earn more money? I am quite good with photoshop but not exactly a proffesional.

    Help? :(

    Thanks, Ben.

Why don't you try all four? The more streams of income you have the better placed you will be for the future.

If you focus on a number of different markets, when you find that some markets are under performing, then hopefully one of your other sites will back you up. A bit like the old saying, dont put all your eggs in one basket!

I also really comes down to how much time you can set aside for your projects, which ones you feel passionate about, and which ones you enjoy working on then take it from there. If I were you I would not just start a site because you think it can make you money.. start a site because you want to add value to the market/community and you actually have something to give! If you have something to contribute then the money will come.

Not trying to plug my own products too much, but have you looked into Facebook at all? I make some pretty good money from facebook with only a few hours a week.. I recommend having a look at some of our ebooks - http://www.appbid.com/featured/ebook-how-to-make-money-on-facebook

    Best of luck.

It all depends on your skills and what you know

There are many ways of making money onlibe
    Freelancing (seo,data entry,designing etc)
Selling products (owning an ecommerce site)
    Adsense and similar methods
    Afilliates
    Etc etc

    Is your choice

Do not waste your time chasing the adsense carrot.

Get content of some kind, and start a membership site. Harder to begin with because you need to put in the time and effort. But more rewarding, and pays better.

This is where you are either an online player willing to put in the time it takes to make it in online biz. Or you are one more proxy, adsense joker scrambling for loose change.

    The choice is yours..

Thats hit the nail on the head really. Im not exactly going to be earning much from adsense unless i have stupid traffic.

    Exactly.

Adsense is a fool's errand. If you have a good niche, and crazy traffic. Bravo.

But many I see on the forum are just getting started, and have no money, no main site, or network of sites, to get or have traffic.

So you need to think on that scale.

Something more realistic if you are looking for a return on your time, effort, and money.

Also with proxys its not a very stable income as schools can block the sites and they will only get used mostly on school days, monday-friday.

I think im going to do somthing along the lines of a forum about photoshop/design and il think of somthing which will make people want to come to it..

Make sure you run competitions... cash, ipods, ipod gift cards.. .whatever.

Do it weekly, then have a monthly competition for something more or bigger prize.

The only real advice I can give you is to stick to whatever you love and spend all of your time doing it. If you stick with it, no matter how cliche it sounds, it will work.

It's all about the passion behind the business, even online.

If you don't like the competition then maybe you should look at other earning opportunities rather than running your own business.

Google doesn't like proxies because you have no control or normally have no control over the content shown on your proxy to your end user plus you are showing other sites content through your domain name and profiting from using other websites content.

Good luck on what ever you decide to do though.

Have you read the ebook 5 Bucks A Day by Dennis Becker? Really straightened me out. Don't worry so much about which one to try - just try one after the other, see how they work out, and go from there. Do it in a small way at first so you don't lose much money if something doesn't work for you. Everyone is good at different things - you have to try them out to find what is easiest for you. Read the book - there's much more in it. And this is volunteer sharing on my part - not getting paid for this. It's just the best info I've come across for beginners.

    do something you know about
do something you like and enjoy
even if its something that there i a lot out there, if your good/your site is good you will become more popular.

as some people said to do everything, my only advice is not to start everthing at the same time as youll get loaded with stuff and they might not come as good as it could be or you can get bored and stop keeping it up.

    bye

Spot on, there is a lot of money to be made by freelancers, thats how I started out and could easily manage to make 2-3k per month via freelancing alone.
