Earning from Image vs text for Adsense Ads

    Just wonder anyone here has any experience on earning from Image vs text? I found out that image earning is much more lower than text. Please let me know whether I get the correct picture. Thanks

    text-ads have higher earning ratio then Image-ads

    no i don't think so. cause i have seen so many ads which have image and also text version. so the advertisers are not going to pay different amount for both of them right? they just make a payment average for both of them. so i think the rate don't vary.

    You can experiment doing image/text ads. Sometimes, it depends on the type of your website.

    As far as I am tested then text ads works betters for most of the niches

    But I have one site in celebrity niche where most of the visitors are teenagers and there Image ads works better in terms of CTR, so they generate more income as well.

    So there isn't one correct answer and it is better to test in on your site

    It depends on type of your site....Piradzinsh rightly said..
    but text ads works better..and give more out put than image ads as far as i know and experiencing..

    Yup it depends on the demographics of the site...If it's usually younger generation, then image ads would perform better..and vice versa

    Well text links always work better than image ads for me in my sites.However I dont prefer image ads as sometimes I feel that images are going to slow down my site speed.So its better to use optimize your site with text links.
