And that has helped you in what way? You'd have been better spending it trying to rank for search terms, than getting pr3. Looks to me you've wasted a month, you're not ranking for a 9 word phrase from your homepage.

They are basic steps to get backlinks and improve PR. But some time we need some reminders and for newcomers it may be of immense help. We all should start with ABC for anything and you have provided the abc's. thanks

 

I love using do follow forums and blogs. you can build alot of backlinks this method.

Don't forget relevancy. Leaving bunch of comments on irrelevant site to your niche will create more harms than good.
