Hi, They could be an affiliate marketer. Join any CPA network like Clickbank and pick a product they are familiar or have interest in and market it. They market in places where there are free traffic for starters before paying for ads and such. God bless, Josh
With all due respect... i hope you don't think we all just stare at a computer and money rolls in. Half the reason more people don't play this game is because once they actually sit down to try and make this happen... and find out that it's ACTUAL work.... it's over for them. Whatever you choose from all the great idea's from your posters, THERE WILL BE ACTUAL WORK involved. Not 'physically' hard, but mentally draining kinda hard.... and you could probably argue that that is worse!! Sounds like you need to prep them a little more in some kind of a knowledgeable area before you try turning them loose. We ALL want to do as little as possible and make lots of money... ...unfortunately, this is just not the case. but good luck!
How about telling them about forum posting and blog commenting? They are good sources of easy money and you really don't need to be well versed with internet marketing or affiliate marketing or other stuff. All you need to know is what you're good at and start searching for the desired niche and it's quite an easy life, you'll see
I would buy a cheap website and put google on it. Submit just a few articles to directories, and get some traffic.
