Well, Digital Point is a great forum and place where one could find useful information, share his/her opinion, give a piece of advice to others and so forth. However, there is a tendency lately of members bitching about this and that, others trying to rip people off and some examples of pointless spammy posts and threads. I would like to remind all the members that the forum is not all about that and the main idea is totally different. Instead of doing the above mentioned pointless stuff members could: 1. try to post something that will inspire other members in the particular forum, thus relate to other people and find some new friend, maybe even followers to your ideas and thoughts - this could help you earn some traffic to your blog or website 2. talk about a funny thing, post a funny video or talk about something funny that happened to you - people love that kind of stuff 3. use something unique, yet funny for a signature 4. help other members out, if you stumble upon a thread where someone's asking for help and you happen to know the answer don't keep it to yourself answer it... 5. If you have good design capabilities post some pics of your work in the appropriate section and share your stuff with others 6. you are good at writing? well, go and share your knowledge - you could earn some money while you are at it! 7. make your post sound intelligent. People love well structured post and it will definitely increase your authority among others. If everyone of us tries to follow at least three of these guidelines the forum will definitely become a better place. P.S. Ah, and while doing this we might as well increase our reputation on the forum. It won't hurt us, right?
