Scour is a newly designed search engine to help you gain money through your searches (as you may have already figured out from my ranting earlier). It’s also a way for you and the web community to play an important part in search results from different search engines including Google, Yahoo, and MSN. On Scour, every search you make nets you one point. You can also vote on search results by either giving the a “thumbs up†or “thumbs down†depending on their usefulness to you. Furthermore, you can comment on how the website from the search result helped with you with getting the information you needed. Through voting and commenting, you can net yourself another 5 points. After you’ve reached 6500 points, you can cash them in for $25. However, there is a downside to this and that is that there is a cap of 500 points per day. So with 13 days or 2 weeks of searching, you could gain $25. Now you might be wondering why you’d want to go through all of that trouble just to get $25, but the points really add up. Also, if you can refer friends to join the site, you can get bonus points from them too. So imagine if you had 100 friends and they did 125 searches per day, you could net yourself $18980 in a year! Isn’t that something to behold? Now what are you waiting for, sign up using my referral link now and get us both bonus points! Sign up for Scour today! http://scour.com/

It's an interesting search engine I have ever try and may be useful only for English keyword. I found nothing using my local language keyword.
I have heard some news about what scour are doing....... I think you should check it out http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=955786
Hi All, It's unfortunate that this is being passed around, but I did post a response to this which is also in that same post: When signing up for Scour.com, the user has an option to invite their entire contact, chose which contacts to invite, or skip this "invite" process all together. Once you've selected a screen name, it brings you another page which asks if you want to log-in to one of your emails (yahoo, msn, aol, gmail) to invite more friends. If you chose to log-in to one of these, by default it will select your entire contact list to send the invite to. This is not mandatory. You do have the option to skip this and you have the option to choose which contacts you want to do not want to send an invite to. But again, you will have the doubters, and we welcome all input. Have a great day, everyone!
I would'nt say there doubters. I'd say there displeased with the service you have provided, and are therefore entitled to voice there opinion. As a suggestion you should make it so that when users sign into there email account, instead of by default your system sending it to all there contacts it should be an opt-in system, not opt-out. Tom
Hi Tom, I've passed that over to the Scour team. Please remember though, users aren't required to sign in to their email accounts. Thanks so much for your input! We really do value all opinions. All the best!
