    The hyphen would sevearly lower its value, so high $xx - low $xxx.

    I know it would but it's the second highest TLD extension and all the other TLDs for "earn-money" are taken.

    The hyphen devalues the name significantly plus being a .net as opposed to a .com also makes it about 20-30% of the value of a .com
