1. You have to have a following, which takes forever to build up.

2. Adsense doesn't pay that well and selling ads on your blog sucks.

Yes, but a good PR will generate traffic. A good PR means your blog will be higher in the SERPs. Which means that what you post on blogs will be able to be seen by more people - which means more traffic.

You can get a lot of traffic and not make a cent with adsense. Its about the QUALITY and RELEVANCE of the traffic.

I totally wish I could make money from blogs, it just takes forever to build up, and a long time to manage. But I guess in the end it all pays off.

 

I don´t think Google Adsense has any restrictions on the age of the website in order for you to use the service. I´ve had pages just completed with adsense added and generating some money...

 

To make money from Adsense you would need a lot of traffic from search engines. We have to face it that otehr webmaster aren't going to click on the ads that we are putting on our website.
