duez - thanks for the entry! If being honest, I would say it doesn't quite contend with some of the others. I'm looking for a bit more creativity.

willhaynes - I like that O a lot better. If yours is picked, I like the "we were all noobs once" tagline the best =D

@drop - dude, well done! I love the color scheme, and yes, it's simple but quite effective. I will be moving my navigation menu to the top right..so it would fit right in here. The only thing is, I'm thinking about changing background color to white...so with the white graphic, it's going to look like a huge empty space where that hill is at. Know what I mean? Can you try some different color combos? (and it's "optimization" =D)

RNHalawi - thanks for the entry! It has a sort of plain, yet semi-appealing appearance. Not quite as "in your face" as I would like, but good nevertheless!

Drop - Wow, those look very cool. I especially like the blue! My only fear is the extreme amount of whitespace to the right...not sure what to do about that.

 

Perhaps a nice place for some google ads?

Or maybe I could reduce the size of the logo slightly...

Well, my mind has shifted back and forth many times, but if I go by what I think is most memorable and gives a lasting impression, I'm going to declare willhaynes as the winner with his entry. I just love it! It may not be the most sophisticated, but again, it grabs attention, but not too much, and it's big. Exactly what I was looking for.

Just by coincidence did he use my two favorite colors...blue and orange. At no time did I say what my fav color combo was..lol.

Anyway, I can't thank the rest of you enough, you're all awesome, and I wish you the most luck on your other contests.
