I want to know from the forum authorities & other old members of the forum who have been in touch with this forum for some years that in the "contest" forum everyday many different contests for making logo,for suggesting domain names,for making headers are given. But many contests end with no winners announced. So I want to know seriously that whats the seriousness of the contest section of this forum.............Reply is seriously needed. I am in great confusion as to how the winners get selected in the CONTEST forum.The members who organize the contest & give handful money in dollars,after someone gives their reply gets selected,is that their names are flashed itself in the particular section of the respected contest or they send their reply of selection through e-mail or is there any other process whom anyone can make me understand...........
Unfortunately, not much can be done about it. You have to check the CH's previous contest history/feedback ratings before entering a contest. Beware entering those quick contests, high priced contests by new members etc. Also remember to always watermark your works.
The contest forum section is just one big joke, and personally speaking should be removed from DP, for now you should take advantage of it just like everyone else does, or just ignore it, reason been nobody or any serious business needs to run con-tests.
