eAccelerator Installation help

    i want to install eAccelerator on my VPS, i dont have phpize installed.
    i could not find any tutorial on the net about installing phpize.
    Is there any way to install eAccelerator without phpize or how do i install phpize.

    I suggest you don't install it. My X VPS company suggested installing it, it caused more trouble than it was worth. Took cpu usage from minimal to straining the server, in the end all the crap that went wrong I lost about 2 days of business! :(

    got it working,had to Install 25 other things just for eAccelerator.

    Linux is rubbish.
