A lot of school stuff going on atm, not much time for writing articles and stuff like that. Blogging is still fine though, because it doesn't feel like "work", which just writing articles for directories do. Oh well, no more sales just yet, except for one for 6 bucks or so the other day lol.
Just sibmitted an article to Anik Singal's brand new directory which is still in Beta testing. We'll see how this goes. The article is pointing to my blog's home page.
Holy shit, they have like insanely fast approvals... How about... 5 minutes? Yeah, seriously. I think this'll be big... They even allow aff links and adsense monetizing.
That's cool. Do you have a link? Wanna hear something funny? I got an email from ezine articles today, saying they appreciate my platinum status and want to send me me an ezine articles mug lol. Now I have something to put my vodka in while I type out more mind numbing articles.
Awesome! Travis Sago has one too lol. Oh shit, forgot the link... Actually, I'll even blog it and make a new thread about it, lol.
LOL, I a mug? That's a bit random. Ironically a mug would show the least appreciation and thought possible. Oh well. Good for the coffee . (or smashing in anger)
lol. Don't you only need 10 articles to get to expert author? I think I had two different pen names expert authors in a day.
^^ They should, traffic is still traffic you know... and that's what analytics track. And Supper, yeah lol, something like that. I think I got it at 7 or 8 or something, because I have 9 articles now, one of them being in queue. I still get this cold unfriendly feeling from these directories, and I rather post on my blogs anyway, and that'd be like a PR 2 directory but with better SEO. It's all good I'd say. Actually it's probably higher than PR2 because the green bar only gets updated ever 3-5 months.
No, I'm not gonna give up on my blogging, but that takes like minimal time out of my day, so I'm gonna start something else on the side, just as an experiment. No, I won't tell you what it is, chances are 300 people are gonna jump on it too and you know... yeah... But sure, I'll tell you how it goes with this method too. Hint: Involves only Squidoo lenses (yes I am in love with Squidoo) and SEO.
Great and inspiring journal, lemonarian... I'm bet you've been gained a lot of useful experience in this CB journey, isn't it? WoW, can't even wait for you to reveal the secret soon... All the best, Wilson. PS: BTW, lemonarian. What is your nickname at Squidoo? So I can add you up as a friend, if you didn't mind...
Oh yeah, I'm getting AWeber tomorrow... huge investment there. Not money-wise, but more like, value-wise... hehe.
So as to continue on the squidoo tactic I was talking about, I'm reconsidering if I should follow through to MAYBE make some money on the side, or just use squidoo to drive traffic to my blogs for more longterm profits... What do you think?
Woo, quadruple post. Even double posts are usually forbidden on forums but oh well... Well, I've gotten my AWeber account and set up an opt in form on my blog, we'll see how that goes then. Planning on writing a niche report tomorrow to offer to subscribers... Luckily I've been studying this niche for like 5 years so a couple of pages shouldn't be too difficult... Until then, I'm off to bed, having completely forgotten about the physics test on thursday... lol. It's really easy stuff anyway...
Article marketers, check this out... http://www.jackhumphrey.com/fridayt...otion/top-21-the-best-article-directory-list/
Oh, so you guys hate this thread, lol. Well, anyway, I have now gotten 3 opt-ins from my blog, and what do they get for free? Discount links, lol.
Sounds like you bought into aweber when they made a major change to the market they're going after. I got in when you could have up to 10,000 subscribers for $19.95. I think I'm on that policy unless I want to upgrade to the new system (which has some advance analytics system). I'm hoping they don't get to the point where they'll force me into it. Now you have to pay $19 for the first 500 subscribers. Crazy eh. Right now I have 223 subscribed opt-ins, and I've only made one $18 sale. I still haven't got past that learning curve of selling to them.
