My first try @ bum marketing - 1 article approved - second one turned down - now my account is suspended  Has this happened to anyone else, will I ever get back on? Time for another account maybe? The funny thing was I have another 3 articles waiting for approval 2 of which are 'classic' bum marketing bumf but the one that got rejected was actually 99% original! Any ideas how they decide to allow articles - I've seen plenty on the site that are BLATANT copies of other stuff - maybe I was just unlucky eh? To be honest its a bit of a low point for me - I know I'm just starting out but after a month - $150 sales mostly on PPC - whihc I've just about broken even on, I've read and read and read and written, posted, squidded, blooged like never before - still Rome wasnt built in a day and all that! Just need a shoulder to cry on i guess ;) Thanks for listening - I feel much better now!

Just talk to them and explain the situation. Usually the suspension is removed within a week, if you find a resolution to the problem.

Next time you are copying an article, atleast re-write it - put it in your own words.
I usually gather information from one or two articles, but I try to sound as original as possible.
but I do hope your issue with EA gets sorted out, and I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks guys, blaine - to be honest i did re-write the article - thats why I'm so confused - it passed their initial checks and I checked with dupecop - I guess its a subtle art to change not only the words but the thinking behind an article in order to get it approved! C'est la vie

When I say re-write it, I'm not talking making slight changes in an attempt to sound original. What I was suggesting…you paraphrase an article in such way…that it will be very difficult to dispute your articles authenticity.

Here’s an example: Most of the occurrence at Euro08 has gone precisely the way experts had predicted. The only exception was…world champions Italy being trashed 3nil by a very clinical Dutch side.

Paraphrase of the statement: So far, the happenings at Euro08 seem to be going the way pundits have predicted, but not in the case of Italy…the world champions were trashed 3 nothing by a very good Dutch team.

Majority of the time though, I try writing original stuff…with the inclusion of a few paraphrased lines I got from articles and different websites.

In the case of an article which is giving 7 tips, 5 steps etc…you can’t apply this principle effectively without looking suspicious.

To add to what I said…It’s important to verify information that you have gotten from other articles. I'm currently in the middle of writing an article. This particular article required some extensive research. I Went to Ezine and did a search for simular articles relating to the topic I am writing about. I found this very articulate one that had almost all the information I was looking for.

The information seemed very interesting....the person who wrote it actually convinced me...he knows what he's talking about. I still decided to validate his claims...with the help of Wikipedia and other online resources. To my surprise, what I found on Wikipedia and the other sites, totally contradicts the information from that Ezine article I was reading.

So always make sure to validate any claim an author makes in his article. Though the information may sound factual and inspirational...it’s not always accurate.
