Hello, I was reading posts about E-Whoring and how to make money with "sexy" chick profiles. Im stuck between deciding if it is legal or not to create a fake profile on facebook and then chat with "horny" guys on there. Obviously, they will pm me, so there is no need to spam them. On few dating/adult sites, there are these fake IM girls saying that they are from the same area or want to chat with you. Of course they dont exist, but just use it to make people sing up to their websites. So they are using similar tactics, with fake profiles and messages and are making nice profits. Anyways, long story short. Can there be any legal problem with E-Whoring? Thanks.
Your parents must be so proud. The only illegalities I can see is if your johns are under 18 (or FBI agents pretending such) and you say explicit things to them.
Thats why you check the DOB in the profile before adding/accepting people. Check Facebook's TOS; see what they say about fake accounts, who knows? They might not say anything about it.
I personally hate all of that stuff, and I am being added on msn by fake accounts asking me to click links all the time.
Yesterday one of my friends told me that somebody added him at Live Messenger and tried to make him signup a site if he wants to see her on Webcam. She (probably a boor with a beard) was also asking his favorite color to wear a panty of that color I asked him to give me the site to see if it is a site which contains virus, trojan or a scam and I saw that the site was asking for his credit card to "verify his age". Actually, warning at the footer with a small text was saying that if he enters his cc he is going to pay approximately $40 each month. It is obviously unethical but in my opinion it should be illegal too.
its not illegal. It is illegal to act like another person, but if your 'character' is made up, then there is nothing illegal about it. But of course, its unethical
Thats not the definition of blackhat, blackhat is the opposite of whitehat. Blackhat includes both the unethical and illegal.
yep. White = Ethical, legal Grey = Pushing towards unethical, legal Black = unethical, and in some cases, illegal.
You clearly dont know what blackhat is if thats your definition. Many people who are in to blackhat methods consider hacking, viruses, fraud to be beyond blackhat.
Well I also hate these fake profile dating websites but as I have learned recently that people are really paying money to them and website owners make lots of money!!! It's not illegal to do these anywhere but unethical, however people make lots of money That's the point...
