e-Royal payment processor accepts e-cigs but .co domain name, any feedback ? Hello, I am looking for a payment processor that accepts electronic cigarettes, do you know any ? I found e-royal but their .co domain name is in Colombia so I wonder if I can trust them ? Thank you for your help to find a good e-cig payment processor for unregistered company (I just start and won't register until I will be sure that business is good) Cheers.
Why is it high risk ? Items cost less than $50 and there is no special risk to have chargeback, so I do not agree when companies classify e-cigs in high risk items section ! Is it just a way to make more profit fro innocent sellers ? Thank you.
Given that it is extremely easy to sell e-cigarettes and thus leads to deceptive marketing practice just as you would find in high-risk generic pharma, and they are not yet fully regulated given that tests are still being done and they inherently negate all laws that currently are in place for traditional cigarettes, this places a huge risk on the bank. It is not your job to agree with the companies, as their underwriters and risk analyst have done plenty of work on their accord to rightfully come to their own conclusion that e-cigarettes are high-risk. These companies that refuse to accept your e-cigarette sales are clearly not making additional profit by rejecting an entire industry. That said, high-risk processing companies have much higher rates because you shift all of your risk on to the processor and thus put not only your business at risk, but theirs as well, as opposed to low-risk merchants that are sustainable and don't hold much direct risk to the processor.
