Internet marketing is a great way to make a living online. For me, it's a hobby, but many are making big bucks. The best ways to make money through internet marketing are by creating an email list and by writing and submitting articles.

I think that would depend on your goals. If your goal is to make a great deal of money and reach a larger audience then internet marketing would be the better way to go. Internet marketing is one of the quickest and most inexpensive ways to not only market to people worldwide but to potentially make alot of money.
