I am trying to market my product through email but the main problem is that my mail seem to be heading directly to the spam folder.

Is there some ways to prevent this or at least decrease the number of mails going to the spam folder?

Make sure you do not over-use words like Free, Cheap, Buy Now etc, which are filtered to the spam. Also, if you have a subscriber list, you should ask your subscribers to add your email to their safe list. Sending unsolicited emails will always land in spam

Use a pro service like Aweber or Getresponse for better delivery.

A spam checker will check your email for words and phrases that might get your email dumped before a person ever sees it.

Here is a spam checker you can use http://spamcheck.sitesell.com/

If you're on a shared host, your server IP may be blocked. Try to contact your host ;)
